Live Video From Anywhere on Earth.
Your most remote sites — pipeline corridors, mountaintops, barren deserts — have zero cell signal. Starlink satellite connectivity delivers the bandwidth for live-streaming video, real-time alerts, and two-way audio where no other connection exists. Complete managed security available with 24/7 monitoring and ongoing support.
The Problem: You need eyes on sites that cellular networks cannot reach. Pipeline endpoints 50 miles from the nearest tower. Wellheads in mountain valleys with no line of sight. Mining claims in wilderness areas where the closest cell signal is a two-hour drive. Traditional wireless surveillance requires 4G LTE or 5G cellular service — and when that service does not exist, the cameras go dark. Wired internet is not an option when the nearest fiber line is 30 miles away. Your most vulnerable sites are the ones with no connectivity.
Why Cellular-Only Falls Short: Cellular coverage maps show broad green swaths across the country. The reality on the ground is different. Remote industrial sites — the ones most vulnerable to theft, vandalism, and sabotage — are precisely the locations where cell towers are sparse or nonexistent. Even where cellular service technically exists, signal strength at a remote pipeline valve station or wellhead is often insufficient for live video streaming. One bar of 4G does not support a four-camera system sending real-time video to a monitoring center.

The RadiusVision Approach: RadiusVision integrates Starlink low-earth-orbit satellite connectivity into surveillance systems engineered for zero-infrastructure deployment. Starlink delivers high-bandwidth, low-latency internet from space — sufficient for live video streaming, real-time push notifications, and two-way audio communication. Combined with solar power and battery backup, a RadiusVision satellite-connected system operates indefinitely at any location on the planet with a clear view of the sky. No cell tower. No fiber line. No generator. Just power from the sun and internet from space.
Features
Starlink Low-Earth-Orbit Internet
Starlink's constellation of low-earth-orbit satellites delivers broadband internet anywhere with a clear sky view. Sufficient bandwidth for multi-camera live video streaming, cloud backup, and real-time alerts — capabilities that traditional satellite services could not support.
Multi-Radio Architecture
Every RadiusVision system uses a Pepwave MAX BR1 Pro 5G router supporting cellular (Global 5G / Cat 20 LTE), Wi-Fi 6 (2x2 MU-MIMO, 250-300ft range), Wi-Fi as WAN for Starlink ingestion, and wired WAN. One router, every connection type.
Automatic Failover
Configure primary and backup connections — satellite primary with cellular failover, or vice versa. If one link drops, the system switches automatically. Your cameras never go offline because of a single connection failure.
Extended Sensor Networks
Wi-Fi HaLow and LoRaWAN radios connect battery-powered wireless sensors — door contacts, motion detectors, environmental monitors — at distances up to two miles from the base station. Long-range sensor networks without additional infrastructure.
FirstNet & FrontLine Certified
The only rapid deploy surveillance kit certified for FirstNet and FrontLine first responder networks. Priority communications for law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency management — even during network congestion events.
Fully Off-Grid Operation
Pair satellite connectivity with solar power and battery backup for a system that requires zero existing infrastructure. No grid power, no internet service, no maintenance visits for connectivity. Deploys in hours, operates for years.
How It Works
Starlink Dish Acquires Signal
The Starlink terminal automatically aligns with the nearest low-earth-orbit satellites and establishes a broadband connection. The Pepwave router ingests the satellite internet via Wi-Fi as WAN or wired ethernet. Within minutes of powering on, your remote site has high-speed internet — from space.
Cameras Stream Over Satellite
AI-enabled cameras stream live video through the satellite link to your VMS dashboard, monitoring center, or mobile device. Edge servers process video on-site for local recording and AI analytics. The satellite link transmits alerts, live feeds, and recorded clips — not raw uncompressed video. Intelligent bandwidth management ensures continuous operation.
Real-Time Alerts & Response
When AI analytics detect an intrusion, the system sends instant push notifications to your operations team or professional monitoring center via the satellite link. Two-way audio speakers enable live verbal warnings. All footage archives locally on the edge server and syncs to cloud backup when bandwidth allows. Complete detect-verify-respond capability at any location on earth.
Configuration Options
Satellite
Starlink standard or Starlink Business for higher throughput and priority access. Client provides Starlink subscription — RadiusVision integrates the terminal into the system architecture.
Router
Pepwave MAX BR1 Pro 5G — Global 5G / Cat 20 LTE modem, Wi-Fi 6 (2x2 MU-MIMO), dual SIM, Wi-Fi as WAN, SpeedFusion VPN bonding.
Failover
Satellite + cellular dual-WAN with automatic failover. Or cellular primary with satellite backup for sites with marginal cell service.
Sensor Integration
Wi-Fi HaLow and LoRaWAN for battery-powered wireless sensors (door contacts, motion, environmental) at distances up to 2 miles.
Power
Solar + battery (fully off-grid), AC mains with battery backup (grid-connected), or generator with solar supplement (hybrid).
Camera Systems
Compatible with all RadiusVision camera configurations — PTZ, bullet, 360-degree panoramic, thermal, and radar-triggered slew-to-cue.
Use Cases
Remote Oil & Gas Sites
Pipeline endpoints, wellheads, and valve stations in areas with zero cellular coverage. Satellite connectivity enables live monitoring of sites that were previously unwatchable. Operators lose up to $300,000/month in the Permian Basin alone from unmonitored theft.
Mining Operations
Open-pit mines, exploration camps, and haul roads in wilderness areas. Starlink provides the bandwidth for live video streaming where cellular carriers have no presence and will never build towers.
Critical Infrastructure
Remote substations, water pumping stations, and telecom sites in rural areas. Copper theft at substations costs utilities $1 billion annually — satellite-connected surveillance provides the deterrent where no other monitoring is possible.
Disaster Response & Emergency
When cellular towers are damaged or overloaded during natural disasters, satellite connectivity keeps surveillance operational. Rapid Deploy Kits with Starlink maintain situational awareness for first responders when terrestrial networks fail.
Construction in Remote Areas
Highway extensions, bridge projects, and pipeline construction in undeveloped corridors. Satellite connectivity protects equipment and materials at sites months away from permanent infrastructure.
We design, engineer, and assemble complete surveillance systems in-house — not resold off-the-shelf cameras on a pole. Every system is built for the specific conditions it will face.
